The old Miser's Mansion land

Trixie lifted her head and scowled but smiled afterwards. "Jim, must I have to do the raking of the leaves you know that's not my favourite job."

 

Jim looked at his wife with laughter in his eyes "Of course Cinderella you have too."

Trixie sighed "I'm off to see Honey at one of the other house's on the farm. She wont make me do any raking. Plus I have to see the other boys that are with Brain"

 

Speaking of her older handsome brother she smiled, she was proud how he had got his on Medical degree, but she also was proud of her "nearly-twin" brother who got it so that he went through to got himself a agriculturial High place before he left school.

 

Jim, her husband, as well she was proud of because wasn't she helping him run his orphan farm? "I'll just run and put on that new sweatshirt that Bobby's wife Suzy knitted for me" Jim laughed rembering Diana's little twin sister at her wedding day. "Of course, run along now"

 

Trixie didn't look back she just ran too the hut. That Honey and Brain and the sick little boys lived. She felt inside her pocket there was a sucker in it.

 

"Honey" She called out to her friend.

 

"Trix I wondered when you would come."

 

"We have had a call from the police they need our help on a case."

 

Trixie grinned. "Jeepers,again?" Then she laughed. "How are you and Brain? Has he asked you to marry him yet?"

 

Honey stiffened. "No not yet, I do not get why he is taking so long tho."

 

Trixie looked grim" That's not like him." Trixie grinned again "Here have this sucker, how are the boys?"

 

Honey took the sucker. "Thanks, the boys are okay"

 

Trixie all of a sudden grinned.

 

Honey just took off the wrapper of her sucker and looked at her friend's sudden changed of mood. "What's up Trix? "

 

Trixie ran off to do her most hated chore.

 

Trixie raked up the leaves super fast. Then ran and got Honey. "Honey, come on let's get the boys in your hut and let them have a jump in the leaves."

 

Honey grinned "Okay, I'll run and get them for you"

 

Trixie grinned thinking Then well have a game of football after all it is "Perfect football weather."

 

Then Honey appeared with the boys. "Come with me " she said to them. Honey laughed at the filmier attuide.

 

"Honey your goner show them a jump into it "linus" style"

 

"What about this?" She said pointing to her sucker.

 

"Leave it" Trixie said.

 

When they got to it Honey jumped into the pile of leaves "Linus " style with her wet sucker and it came out of her mouth. If only Brain would propose to her. Then she would be perfectly happy.

 

Oh my who is that on the hill? Trixie wondered. Then she yelled "Steven"

 

Everyone stopped playing.

 

"Trix, who's Steven?"

 

Trixie sobered "When I was little my Aunty and Uncle had a child who came and  lived with us for awhile but on the way home there was a major storm and we never heard, from Steven since"

 

Then a handsome young man with blond swish hair like Mart short and well cut.

 

"Hi Steven" Trixie said.

 

"Hi" he said in a deep, soft, cute voice. Trixie then rembered the rest of her manners.

 

"Honey this is Steven, Steven, Honey " Honey smiled and shook his hand.

 

"This is all the boys that Jim ,Mart, Brain, Dan, Honey, Di, Ruthie and I take care of."

 

Steven grinned " You mean to say that all these here are taken care of by 8 people?"

 

Trixie laughed. "No there are more of these wee boys but lets get some hot chocolate."

 

They all started off to the top house.

 

"Hey Trix, what about the boys you know they are not allowed up there "

 

Trixie's grinned dissapered. "Well I'll take them too the hut you go along with Steven and introduce him too, Jim and I think I saw Dan head that way a few minutes ago, he should be cleaned up by now after his normal shower after the horse run."

 

Then Trixie gathered up the children and headed them towards the hut.Oh that look on Honey's face I've seen it before but where? Trixie wondered. "Oh" When she looks at Brain could she be falling for Steven? Oh, jeepers.

 

"Come let's hurry up"

 

When they were at the hut, Brain was there. Trixie grinned

 

"Do you rember Steven? " She asked.

 

"Yeah, of course who couldn't?"

 

Trixie laughed, "Well he's here." Brain looked shocked. " W-what? "

 

Trixie rolled her eyes. "He's here, he's at the big house. Well go up there in a minute, Honey took him up there. The boys can take of them selves" She finished.

 

Then she noticed an un-ripe-green pumpkin in his hand ,carved with a heart in it. Oh so he was goner propose tonight.

 

"Come on lets go" Brain said putting it the heart shaped pumpkin down.

 

 

Up to the house they went it was quite a walk because the Wheelers old property, Crabapple Farm and the old Miser Mansion where joined together.

 

Trixie at the house had a hot drink of Chocolate and then felt tired all of a sudden and fell asleep on the couch.......
